How does Smart Clearance Manager decide which products to discount?

You create rules that define a trigger (e.g. 30 days without a sale) and discount steps. The app evaluates all tracked variants daily and applies the appropriate discount.

Will it discount products below cost?

No — you can set a price floor based on cost, margin percentage, or a fixed amount.

Can I stop a product from being discounted?

Yes — use the Exclude button on any variant in the dashboard.

How do I undo a discount?

Excluded variants revert to their original price. You can also manually reset prices in your Shopify admin.

What happens when a product sells?

Sold-out variants are automatically removed from clearance pricing on the next job run.
